My children begin to choose from jam, honey, sour cream, butter and ice cream to eat with pancakes. Adults certainly prefer caviar or salmon to be enveloped into pancakes. My husband likes pancakes farced with ground beef or pot cheese. There a lot dishes to be cooked on the frying or round grill pans. And there is no kitchen that has no a pan. It can be deep or flat, large or small, round or square. But we need it every day. A pan has to stay under our hands permanently. Certainly for my pancakes I choose a large and flat frying pan. Would you like to know my recipe for pancakes? I am ready to share it. We are a family of six. So I have to cook the least thirty large pancakes. Then I put three cups of flour into the bowl. I make a deepening in the flour for to pour six hen eggs there. I sift salt and sugar but I don't blend this mixture as it should be diluted with milk or water. I prefer to cook my pancakes with water. First I pour only one liquid part of the three. Then I also add fifty gram soft butter. Now it is time to blend all the ingredients. I get pasty grist and go on to blend it adding water while the grist becomes enough fluent to pour it on the pan oiled and well heated. But before I start my cooking I have waited for two or three hours. After this period I add bicarbonate of soda saturated by apple vinegar. It is time to start frying real pancakes. My grandchildren are in the kitchen waiting for the first hot pancake. They eat it without any additive and become soundless. Silence is unusual event in our home. This fact attracts their parent attention and they arrive in the kitchen. Here you are! My daughter and my son-in-law get the second divided pancake. In a half an hour all the family gathers at the table for to have tasty supper. Thanked for my lovely round frying pan everybody is happy tonight. I like my pancakes too. | |||
